fall 09 trends: deconstruction. stretch. shine. sheer. and other traces of the 90's
i found some images of the 90's that seem to have been inspiration for these collections, or history is just trying to repeat itself-once again. jewelry has diminished and a new tough, female in leather and stretch is soon to be hitting the streets this coming fall.
linda evangelista and christie turlington in the 90's (check out linda's boots and leggings-look familiar?)
daryl hannah-1990's, all black, sheer, yet tough (forget the hat please)
kate moss and tom for backstage -1990's
naomi campbell and linda evangelista (bad as* glamour) check out the bra tops and spandex shorts (like a wangs bra top's and leggings)
kate moss in gianni versace add, assymetry and cutouts..
veronica webb, claudia schiffer, and cindy craword (along with her abdomen-looks like a trend from the 90's has resurfaced..)
image from anne demeulemeester's spring 1997 show- alexander wang did a similar version...also this deconstructional look has been imitated and deconstructed in many of the looks above
