hello kitty....

this may make some of your stomachs churn but for many years i have been quite the hello kitty fanatic. when i moved in to my college dorm at parsons school of design on 13th st (ny, ny), i convinced my mother and best friend to go to the sanrio store in times square and get me the hello kitty tv (and anything else they could pick up) while i played name games at some orientation... i was so crazy about that cat that i drove everyone else insane- the pink everywhere, the cat, the clashing leopard things i owned--it was all a bit much. i still love that cat now -but find the tv repulsive, more a part of my past.i still have a hello kitty change purse, and mirror with jewels. turns out other people love the kitty too..mac has teamed up with hello kitty turning her in to a sex kitten. these are some images i've gathered to celebrate the hello kitty's new project, hope all you cats enjoy.
